My stay at the Plaza Hotel was great. The hotel has the views of Recife downtown and even the ocean. The staff was very friendly and accomodating to all my needs. I loved the free wireless internet in my room and throughout all restaurant/bar/lobby and even in pool area and game room. The Plaza hotel is near everything. The new remodeling looks nice, with a new sports court, pool, bar. The restaurant on 13th floor is beatiful. Their breakfast is superb with lots of variety, made to order omelets, smoothies, juices, etc. I will stay there again ! Potugues: Eu gostei muito do Plaza Hotel. o hotel e bem localizado e o servico foi muito bom. Gostei muito de ter free interent no meu quarto e em todo o hotel. Eu recomendo este hotel.
There was some remodeling on the apts, and I heard that they will be updating the outside of the building next, but it wasn't a problem. Portugues: Eu notei que eles ainda estao aprimorando os quartos (apt) e outras areas como a parte externas do predio, mas nao foi problema para mim.

The location is good.
The hotel was very dirty and no internet connection, which isn't even good for a business hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The location was convenient, allowing us to easily walk to popular attractions such as Casa da Cultura and 13 de Mayo Park. The rooms were comfortable, with functioning AC and WiFi. The breakfast offered a typical Brazilian spread, satisfying our morning cravings. Despite some minor issues with the hot water, the staff was helpful in resolving the problem. We also took advantage of the pool on the top floor, which provided a fantastic view. I would recommend this hotel for its character and proximity to the real Recife. Despite the need for maintenance, it offers good value for money.

Everything in this old and shabby hotel is cranky, but a few things compensate: it is very clean, located near city centre, good wifi system, excellent breakfast, a small swimming poor with a fantastic view. Shower didn't work one day, I reported it and was fixed that same day.
It may have been a good hotel in the past. Today it badly needs maintenance... And they are doing it, but starting by the most urgent. Location: not a place to walk at night and very few restaurants in the area. Extremely hard matresses, noisy airco, furniture very old. Definitely not a hotel to stay for tourism, but if you only go to sleep and do business, I recommend it. It is value for money.

This is the last hotel that I can find at that time.
The hotel is old, it could have been maintained better.

Good location. Good value for the money. Great city and river view with friendly staff. Free internet throughout the hotel was terrific! I could even work from the pool area on the 17th floor. The buffet breakfast was great and I enjoyed the bar on the second floor during the evening.
Will be better when room updates are completed.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and loved it! The rooftop pool was amazing, especially with the views of the city. The breakfast had so many options, from fresh fruits to delicious pastries. The location was perfect, close to both historical landmarks and modern shops.
The beds weren't the most comfortable and there were some issues with the bathroom, but overall it didn't affect our stay too much.
